I run water with workshop cutting oil as I think thats what was used back then!
Cutting oil draws heat away from tools etc., oil lubricates water pump, also probably a slight anti freeze and smells...

A point to remember is that the towed vehicle does the braking for both vehicles or a small amount of hand brake could be used

I purchased side curtain fasteners from Snyders A-37105-X, these have fold down tabs like lift-the-dots. No tools reqired other than a pointed knife. (easy to fit) Also if they fail it will be easyer...

I add a capfull or two of cutting oil to the water(yes it turns the water white), anti rust, waterpump friendly, bearing friendly, paint friendly, leak prof, is a coolent, has that enginering shop...

It would be a good move to wrap red tape on the +ve cable, possably at starter and battery to aviod an error and of course saftey

Oil filler/breather tube tip.
Remove the dipstick before filling the motor with oil.;)
I am well aware that seasoned "A" drivers will know this but to a newby with a flat head engine this may useful :D

I agree with Fred, electrical, shuts of like a switch! a faulty coil will do that when hot, cool down and run sweet again, in the days of old a wet rag was used to cool down the coil to you get home

I have bright tail lights as we live rural, no street lighting or much traffic. Only having one 5watt...
