Pete thanks for sharing. I think the drake one I ordered is working for now but it came with v8 symbol and when tight the v8 is sideways. I just ordered another from tanks. Ken

thanks everyone, I just ordered a new cap from bob drake, its advertised as a vented cap with neoprene gasket and no leaks. I will provide feed back if it works. Ken

gas cap leak

could use some suggestions as to stop my gas cap from spilling when full. I have tried a new gasket on original cap, tried a new cap as well. Car has a new drake tank with a spring loaded flipper....

By the way, if your horn intermittently fails to honk or not at all and your sure the horn and wiring is ok then you may want to clean the contact at the button on your wheel. That was the fix for...

Thanks to all. I had the horn rod out to clean intermittent horn issue and turns out you can assemble it either way.

how does my 34 horn make a ground at the wheel and can I take it apart to clean contact. it tries to work but I think its a poor ground at steering wheel. I can make it work grounding it at the horn...

I'm not sure if this will help. my 34 grill had some vertical bars that were bent bad. I had a spare seat frame and used some pieces from it to braize into the grill, they were a perfect fit. Ken
