I was able to save the USA made tube that was installed in the 1980 by cutting the valve stem off and installing a metal valve stem

Update: the tubes didn’t fit. The valve stem were to fat and would not fit through the hole in the rim.

Love the project. If it were me I would fix as much of the rot as I could and assemble the body with scars and all and enjoy driving it. Or you could look for replacement panels at your local swap...

I ordered a classtique kit for my 1930 deluxe roadster, it is a numbers matching car and was very original. I myself would not order another one from them as the fit was not to my liking.
