My 1935 Ford pickup had a water boiling out issue, passenger side ran 20* warmer. Had the rad flushed, turns out the overflow tube was cracked in the upper tank. It would heat up then "syphon" out...

I'm just getting sorted out with this one. I don't think I'm running lean. 390 seems like a good starting point.
Ill look into that filter idea for next time I change oil. Thanks

I have the MCF Mark Kirby remote filter setup, installing in truck now, motor has been pre-run. Should the filter be pre filled or not. I remember reading about this...anyone know. Thanks

yes it is hooked up to the T5 speedo, female stock '35 female end threads in. As soon as the truck is in motion the speedometer is nearly showing about 10-20 mph.

The T5 speedometer cable attaches to stock speedometer. Just pushing the truck the speed is WAY to fast. Anybody have a. fix?

Thanks' for the input. I have picked up Motor City Flathead (8BA) motor with a few parts robbed off. I would like to use the 8BA front items, water pumps & a pass side distributor as I already have...

I have a 8BA motor. It has a Crower 59A style camshaft. I want to keep this .

Is there an adapter/fix to use a 8BA distributor in this configuration?

Full: intake 28-73, exhaust 73-29, lift .420, duration 282..

I got to confirm the camshaft is a stamped Crower , it’s labelled “6 39004”. The build sheet shows was built in 1994 by MCF

1935 Ford Pickup grill emblem correct color

My Canadian1935 Ford pickup has a white grill emblem, is this correct?
