Under Car Paint Finish

I am doing a lot of under car touch up on a previously restored (50 yrs ago) 28 Pheaton and am trying to not make work for myself. I am not painting everything just areas that need it, frame axles...

Thanks, that is what I figured. The cup turns with the worm and the inner face is against the bushings. Probably not critical as the steering box is low speed and light load. These are the same as...

Steering worm gear bearing

I am rebuilding my 7 tooth steering box and want to make dure to put the thrust bearings in correctly. Which side goes against the bushing and which agsinst thw worm gear? Thanks.
