I did find out that the same horn ring was used into the 50’s steering wheels.

Petehoovie, thanks for the enlarged pictures.
TJ, I wasn’t sure if the whole inner assembly had to be replaced as an assembly or if only the broken outer ring was available and then revited back on...

Finally was able to get the horn ring off, but part of the assembly is damaged. Wondering if the broken ring can be replaced or do I have to get a whole new assembly.

that gives a good picture of what needs to be done to get it off.
I think I have one side off and the melted felt is holding the other side from allowing the ring to be fully...

I am having the issue getting the horn ring off my steering wheel as well.
It looks like the felt as Kube states has melted and is creating the problem.

The 6.00-16 tires need replacement.
Looking at diamondbacks auburns. Will be going with big and little look.
What are some of the combos you are using. Rims are stock.

Thanks Karl , have not seen that detailed picture before , I can see I may have some wrong bolt hardware installed in my top frame assembly.
Do you have any pictures showing the extra brackets...

I have found AUTOGLYM to be my wax/cleaning products of choice now.
Have used all the products mentioned in the comments above , but AUTOGLYM gives me the best results.
