Re: Teflon Tie Rod Ball Seats
I first sanded my new balls with 220 grit sandpaper and then 500 grit. After that I polished them on my buffer with emery. They came out looking like chrome. My teflon seats should last for ever.

Re: king Pin Bushing Reamer
My local machine shop honed my king pin bushings for a perfect fit and finish for $35. The end result is better than any reamer can do.They were line honed on a Sunnen honing machine. It doesn't pay...

Re: EZ Steer vs. F100 Steering Modification

Re: Rear Axle Keys
If the taper is what only holds the grip then why is there a key in there anyway? No reason for hub to axle location orientation.

Re: John Deere corn head grease
The corn head grease should be used in the universal joint housing for the u-joint. Not in the rear end, use 600wt. What do trains have to do with Model A's?

Re: Block cleaning
Chris, Muriatic will remove rust much better and quicker than vinegar. I'd try the muriatic again. For your baking soda neutralizing solution, add some liquid clothes detergent to it. The phosphates...

Re: F150 tranny with overdrive
Speedo won't need calibration with the F150 overdrive because the speedometer is driven off the drive shaft. A change in rear end ratio would require a calibration change.
