Question about Generator/ Alternator
I am looking for a alternator and looks like a stock generator. It needs to be 12 volt. Macs used to have them listed for around $400 plus.

Ken did you use red or white like the originals. These bulbs should be much cooler than the originals. Did you notice the difference?

Something is haywire with my horn? I have a Deluxe Steering wheel on my ,49 convertible. I had the hub of the wheel apart and installed new rubber donut (home made) and it seemed to work fine. But...

Compression Tester
Looking to purchase a Tester. Harbor Freight has them from @17.00 and up.
They are China I'm sure and may not be much good! NAPA has one for $45.00. Anyone have a Napa tester???? Good or Bad?

My Ford Parts Manual lists them as 5/16 - 18 x 7.15 inches. If it has Fordomatic the length is 7.65 inches.
