Thanks! I think this hole is factory made, because it is quite popular in other Edmunds manifolds that I googled.

Some even have the same small pipe attached.

New B7580T bearing which I have has 53mm inside diameter - the bigger one ha approx 55mm or something like that, if I remember right. Can't measure again, just put it back together, old bearing felt...

Yes, both have same kind of return spring holder. Difference is the dimensions, i don’t know where to get new bearing for that big one.

Well, my 1 millimeter milled 8BA head here.

Got 8,5 bar = 123 psi compression with these (with FelPro gaskets)

I had exactly the same problem with my 1940 hood. Had to take the bracket out , straighten it and weld back, solved the prob quite nice.

One 49-64 Pickup wheel, 15'x5,5'

My '40 coupe here in Finland needs one 49-64 Pickup wheel. The wheel accepts the forties type small hubcap (wheel with inside knobs)

Has to be 5.5' wide (and of course 5x5.5 bolt pattern).

Seems that I'll be using stock '50-ties pick up 15'' x 5.5'' wheels with my '48 rear end (WMS to WMS 61 inches), with 8.2'' Firestones.
