Re: Photo test to Post
Many (including myself) believe in the benefits of loading your images into the Fordbarn database rather than using a photo hosting service such as "Lightbox" which you have used. Remember the...

Re: Victoria body drop

Re: Front Axle 1939 Ford pickup
Here's a couple of pictures to show how the toe settings should be on turning.
The angles shown shouldn't vary much for vehicles with a near normal wheelbase

Re: Front Axle 1939 Ford pickup
As Mart suggested, I would check the steering arms on the spindle to see if one or both are apt to be bent. Basically this can have the potential to mess up the toe-in difference between the wheels...

Re: Grease in 2-tooth

NLGI grades are used to express the level of consistency a grease has. NLGI grade 000 grease is very fluid, NLGI grade 0 grease is described as very soft, NLGI 1 grease is soft, NLGI 2 grease is...

The sharpest corner bends and the "open" corners go to the front I believe, so it appears to be for the Right/Passenger's side:

Re: Snyder's New Catalog Came...and a Warning!
Meaning what?? Although it has obviously become very apparent in recent times that the supply of many parts is rapidly dwindling, I personally appreciate Snyder's heads up of the facts to anyone who...

Re: Rear taillight bracket 28 sedan
Rusty's info is good for some sedans but I think he must have missed that the one in question is a Leatherback. The 60A and 60B sedans both have a valance across the back covering the wood subframe...

Re: The Old Motor
Look closely from the rear of the doors back and I think it's pretty apparent that the body is that of a shortened sedan. The body behind the doors is longer than a pickup would be, the remains of...

Bert's also lists splined studs to use with the 4" center hole drum. Not mentioned whether the stud holes need to be reamed a little larger or if they're correct as is. Alternately one can use the...

Got an email back from Steve at Bert's today:
"Yes, these 42-48 drums have 4" hole for use with hub mounted on the outside of the drum, unlike earlier ones mounted behind the drum".
