Re: NEW products available thread

I am hoping to. I have some good originals to use, I just need to find the time to figure out how best to make them. I did just finish up everything I needed to do to be able to...

Re: NEW products available thread
Hello Folks,
After always struggling to find good originals, I have decided to make the carpet retainer sockets for 1932 Fords, part no. 353109-S15. These are now available on my website or PM me...

Hello,
I am looking for some rocker panels for 35-37 Ford Pickups or Trucks. I am fine with either aftermarket or original panels.
I am also interested in any other sheet metal panels or parts...

Help identifying part
Hello,
I have a steering column tube I need help identifying. It looks just like the 35-37 pickups and car tubes, same length but holes for the column drop are located in a different position than...

Re: '35 gas tank yuck
There is a Performance Radiator in Denver. I have had good luck with the Tacoma radiator shop cleaning, etching and sealing gas tanks for me. It can be a good option if you do not want to do the work...

Re: '35 gas tank yuck
My vote is to save the tank. There are many services as well as many products designed for just this sort of thing. Just my two cents!

Re: '35 gas tank yuck
I use either a radiator shop or a metal cleaning service. The radiator shop that I’ve used many times (Performance Radiator, Tacoma WA) can also coat the inside of the tank which I’ve had good luck...

Re: 35/36 Pickup Seat Base
The truck seat base blueprint you sent me illustrates the recessed pockets surrounding the adjustments holes. Did they not actually build them this way?

Re: 35/36 Pickup Seat Base
I’ve heard some pickups didn’t even have the metal plates or any evidence of them ever being installed. I’m wondering if these examples with no plates were earlier versions and the metal plates were...

Re: 35/36 Pickup Seat Base
The versions with the large rectangular cutouts in the center of the seat base are the pickup versions. The truck versions, as you know, have the two large square shaped cutouts. I have had several...

Re: 35/36 Pickup Seat Base
If you pay attention to the dimensions of his drawing rather than the proportions of it, it appears to be the same seat base as 35-37 and I believe 39 should be the same as well. I think 1940 is the...

Re: More New Sheetmetal Products for Pickups
Thanks Dave. You’ve been a big help as always. Perhaps these cabs I have were not originally from a truck. I know one came off a truck but that doesn’t mean it was the factory cab for that truck. If...

Re: 35/36 Pickup Seat Base
Are the 1935 thru 1939 Pickup seat bases the same? I'm pretty sure in 1940 the backrests vertical hinge straps were moved to a narrower position. Can somebody confirm this for me?
Also, I know...

Re: '35 sending unit in a '36 gas tank
I’ve taken gas tanks to radiator shops to have them completely cleaned out, etched and lined. In WA state I’ve used Performance radiator in Tacoma for this service probably two dozen times on both...

Re: More New Sheetmetal Products for Pickups
Hi Dave,
I am aware that the battery hole is different for the trucks due to frame differences, and I plan to offer both versions, but I was not aware of any difference regarding the attachment...
