In my opinion... leave it as it is OR replace the entire seat upholstery. An attempt to match the this will not work out well.
Think of the moth damage as "charm".

Guys, doing a little custom work for a friend. Rear license plate lamp needs a lamp. Must be small, unobtrusive.
Any thoughts?

I did think of modern LED trailer license plate lamps. Cheap and...

testing horn

Re: '39 wire control dash knobs ??

Newc, what you have is the early style. No doubt, you knew that.
I too had that style on the wagon I'd restored. I rebuilt what I had. Easy enough.
I bought the choke cable at the local tractor...

Re: Ford intake with S

Typically, a raised letter, numeral, etc. signifies (IE) the manufacturer, date, mold ID. My guess in this case is this was produced outside of the Ford Motor CO. as a service replacement part....

FYI, The compression fitting is not only unsafe within the brake line, it's illegal.

Re: Tail light connectore

Yep. They will work but you will need to grind down the diameter a bit. As is, they will not fit the connector.

Re: Banjo rear end hub, axle bearings and seals

The reproductions have a sorted history of poor quality. The cages were not (are not?) hardened properly and rather quickly, the cage would fail and the bearings were free to go where they wanted....
