Re: 1931 Tudor Phaeton
I think it's pretty unlikely to get hurt on a 180A,and on that one much less likely. That is one of those cars where the value lies in the fact that it exists.Chassis condition is unimportant.It's...

Re: Shortened pitman arm
I think the 32 has a master spline so you can only install it one way. It's been a while,so I could be getting it mixed up with something else. But,what comes to mind for the 32 I worked on was 32...

Re: Oil leaking around spark plug 2 &3
It's not really oil coming out,it is combustion by product. It will have a slight creosote smell, and might feel a little stickier than oil.If the plug boss on the head is smooth and flat, and the same...

Re: Roadster doors
If I remember right those 4 spots are just brazed spots.Just a touch with a cutoff wheel will free them up.They are extremely easy to twist to fit too.I still have a new set for a 30 that I bought...

Re: Roadster doors
It was pointed out to me maybe 20 years ago that the new doors have 4 tacked spots to hold the skin from moving. They are easily popped loose, and you can twist your door to fit your car.On a 28 I did...

Re: Remove front fenders
By the looks of the rust on those fenders, and none on the splash apron,I would guess those apron pieces are ones somebody drilled and bolted on,instead of original welded ones.If they are bolted on...
