1957 Ford power steering leaks

The power steering leaks badly on my '57 Ford. I've tried leak stop with no help. Is this a command problem with these cars?

Re: '62 T-bird poor handling

I think I found my problem. I replaced the sway bar with a 1 1/8" bar several years ago, and it's in good condition.
I removed the tie rod ends. They and the ball joints move freely with no play and...

'62 T-bird poor handling

My '62 T-bird has new tires, all the front suspension parts are tight and look to be in good condition. When I drive down a straight road the car wanders a bit. When I turn left, like to pass another...

Re: 1962 Thunderbird tires

Thanks for the help Jim. I'm undecided on to go for the 1" wide whites, or the 2 1/2". There's not much difference between the '61 to 63. I guess if a person really wanted 2 1/2" whites they would be...

1962 Thunderbird tires

I need to buy tires for my '62 T-bird. How wide should the white walls be for that year. I've been told '62 was the last year wide white walls were used. I've looked at 2 1/2" wide 215/75/R14 Cokers....

Re: 1957 Ford gas gauge not working.

Bill,

All these tests check good.

The sending unit is new and provides variable resistance with an ohm meter.

Pulsing reading is 5-7 volts with an analog meter.

Tank is grounded.

1957 Ford gas gauge not working.

Gas gauge needle shows full tank all the time with ignition on. With ignition on and off needle moves freely up and down full scale. New tank sending unit tests good.

Disconnected the wire at the...
