Not sure what the material on those is BUT I had a potmetal window winder for our German 32 that was broken and Paul's Chrome plating fixed mine as well as re-plated it.

I take mine to my engine machine shop and he runs it in his hot tank and cleaner for me!!!! THEN I use tub-o-towels to wipe mine clean before I clean it with denatured alcohol and then I paint it...

Anyone happen to have a this tube OR a stand off a motor that can measure it for me? Diameter, length etc?? I am missing this for a motor build and can snag a piece of tubing from a customer IF...

So sorry but I just remembered to look in my Clymer’s Mercury book…the dealer you asked about was not in the list of Mercury dealers from 1939-1964 SO they didn’t sell Mercury at least!!!

It's what I used on my 1941 Ford GP build, THE one thing I did AND recommend is I cleaned the block with a thread chaser and then cleaned with carb/brake cleaner on a shop rag before I installed the...
