So you are saying stock mounts in front and float A motor in rear? That’s what this coupe is set up with and it drives great. Guess I’ll leave well enough alone..

I replaced the original type points and condenser with modern style. I will surely make a checklist of all the things mentioned in your responses.. The backfire comes out of the tail pipe. Thanks...
