anybody here have a modern formula for single stage urethane for the stock 1932 color medium maroon? ive found old laquer formulas but they don't translate to modern paint formulas. thanks

im in Louisiana so I feel your pain. I wipe down everything with Gibbs, I have parts I blasted and wiped down once with it , been sitting on the shelf for 2 years with no rust

Its from using a model b head gasket with a high compression head on a model a block. The model b had steam holes between cylinder #2 and #3. The model a block doesnt have them

Longer shackles are fine on your 47, you have a rear track bar so no worry about side to side movement. Easy to make with some 1" flatbar. To get down 2 inches, you will have to make the shackle...
