getting into the Rumble Seat

I am still new to my Model A and rumble seat, is there a way to get into the rumble seat WITHOUT stepping into the seat? People really like to sit back there understandably, but I cringe every time...

finding OEM parts seems to be an issue for me (new owner), and always concerned with variations of parts that I see available on Ebay and online parts outlets and what is compatible to my car
