Re: 1931 Tudor Phaeton

Don’t be taken in by an”restored” chassis….assume it still needs everything.
The body is full of wood including doors. Is the wood stable? Wet rot,’dry rot? Re-wooding could be approaching $8k if...

Re: Tudor Rain Gutters

You’d be putting a band aid on a hemorrhage.
IMHO
System 3 makes some filler products but they are just a better band aid

Re: Vicky front seats

Bobs pics are early seats. Are you looking for early or late? The later has the wider drivers seat and the slide setup for the drivers side. The passenger side is same floor setup. And, they don’t...

Re: New Shocks vs Rebuilt Shocks

I’ve rebuilt shocks in the past. Fairly successfully…not always

Re: Zenith 3 Carburetor

Don’t know the quality of the builder….looks like a pro operation.
Good 3 used to go for a lot more than $500.
Most I’ve seen are for side bowls. I think non side bowls are more rare…not sure

Re: 28/29 vs 30/31 phaeton top irons

Karl Wescott might have some knowledge of the differences in the tubular.
They do not interchange. But like...

Re: Window Felts 1931 Town Sedan

You’re right, I suppose I assumed….we know what that does!! Since most 31 town sedans are slant. I’ve always heard straights were “fordor deluxe.” Looked it up…there were “town sedans” other than...
