Re: 6 Volt heater motor rebuild

The easiest way i found to make this work. I used the two wire motor from napa, a 1941 switch with heat and defrost. Switch is marked with color dots from memory black is 6v, red and green are wires...

You will have to reduce voltage to 6v. The resistors on switch for the speeds will get super hot run on 12.

Third Gen has a axle thread clamping nut. Not sure it is will work and have no clue how to get picture here.

Not saying its accurate or not but if measured on side of wheel you measured camber not caster.

Never had a 39 but had a few early 60s convertibles not one ever had a boot. I just put the top down and drove it just lays there. Never try and put the top up or down while driving down the road.

Gates interchange is a TR22534. Little shorter belt not sure how exact you need to be.

Been hanging around long time. Learned a lot just reading. But now I need to know anyone have or still making the Harmon Collins rotor and inside cap? Thanks Mike
