Well I finally started working on my 29 Roadster. Buying a house a couple years ago and getting some other projects out of the way will free me up some. Doing a driver/hotrod out of it and keeping the banger and drive gear the same, early 40's type stuff. I am mostly on the HAMB but lurk here daily.

Great looking roadster. Solid body. What does an early 40's hot rod look like?

Maybe something like that with a 32 grille shell and about 3" chopped off the windshield.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. Trying to keep everything on the car pre mid 40's so this is the perfect place to hang out for information.

While doing boring work on the car I decided to mock up the exhaust and intake setup to keep motivated....

Still, neat. Many here would do as little as possible to put it on the road.

As many are now saying "they're only original once."
