Body Mover

I didn't have any help today, and wanted to move a 15 touring body I've been working on from the body stand over to the chassis of the car. So I laid down two two by fours across and slid the body over. Took about an hour. No damage.

Re: Body Mover

I was barely able to lift one end at a time to skooch it over. I dunno, maybe 200-250 lbs? It's more clumsy than heavy. I did a lot of sheet metal and wood replacing on the back seat area, and needed to get the body up onto a chassis to fit the rear fenders. Better to do it now before any painting. This is just a trial fit. I've alway wanted a touring, so I'm pretty excited about this car.
