Model A-B Head Puller 4 Attachment(s)
A friend asked if I could make some head puller for his Model A. I made some drawings, and this is how it ended up. Hope it will work.

Re: Model A-B Head Puller looks very nice.

Re: Model A-B Head Puller You do know that you can pop the head by taking the head nuts off and turning the engine over.

Re: Model A-B Head Puller Great idea. I'm surre that works pretty good especially if the head gasket was assembled using a lot of gasket sealer. In that event the head poping method only moves the head enough to release the combustion or compressed air. If you don't mind, I would like the dimensions so I can make one myself. Thanks. Don/WI

Re: Model A-B Head Puller Try "Gord's Easy Head Puller" made only in one piece with a 100% history removal.

Re: Model A-B Head Puller The first "puller" I rigged up in the early 80's used an old head to act as the 2 hunks of iron shown here. My design from 82 is now made by Bill Stipe and sold by most dealers. It is simple, effective and weighs just 5 lbs.

Re: Model A-B Head Puller Yes... I know it was a little overkill, but my only ambition was to always keep the head puller plate perpendicular to the spark plug threads.

Re: Model A-B Head Puller If you take two old spark plugs and weld a T with one side longer then the other you can lift the head off after popping it loose.
