Re: twin cities plant to be demolished I've heard of people breaking up THICK chunks of paint deposits from some OLD Ford plant paint booths & carving art objects from it. Much like carving turquoise. Also, from old glass plants some broke up THICK deposits of bluish/greenish glass & chiseled/ground beautiful glass art objects!

The Twin Cities is famous for destroying historic buildings. There have been at least three programs each about 3 hours long on public TV called "TWIN CITIES LOST", where they show how the Twin Cities has destroyed many historic buildings. It hurts to watch it and shows how the people in power sure can make wrong decisions.:mad: |
Re: twin cities plant to be demolished AH DANGIT!! My truck will never Return HOME!!! it hurts to think about it!!!
They also tore down the st. Paul union stock yards too. A peice of history that had a lot of meaning to grandpa and i. Dad and grandpa hauled livestock to their everyday, and now and then i would skip school to go along. John |

Re: twin cities plant to be demolished Has Ford announced any follow on to the Ranger? The small/medium Pickup market seems like a big hole to leave in Ford's product line. Toyota, GM, and Nissan seem to be making investments in the market, and the Hilux/Tacoma are used as a tradable asset in the third world (like cattle and sheep).
