What is this carb?

What is a Holley 94, AA1 Model 59 carby, and how does it differ from a regular 94?

I'm not sure what the AA1 means, but 94 identifies the venturi size, (.94"), and the model 59 was for Fords and Mercurys from 1944 to 1948.

All 94's are reffered to as "AA-1" There are slight variations to all 94,s.depending on yr. application. Does that help any or do you need more clarification?? ken ct.
