Holley 2110 question Can anyone tell me what I should expect in the way of vacuum coming from the carb to the vacuum advance.

Re: Holley 2110 question Very little, its supposed to be that way. You cannot use manifold vacume to the dist. ken ct.

Re: Holley 2110 question I think I get around 5". Is that enough for the normal vacuum advance? Any suggestions. Thanks so much for the input.

Re: Holley 2110 question hook up a timing lite to #1 plug, aim it at timing mark on front pully, wind engine up and see how much the timing advances, should get full advance at 2000rpm or so
|
Re: Holley 2110 question Thank you very much. I don't have a timing indicator on the motor, but the mark moved about 1 1/2" on an 8" dampner.

Re: Holley 2110 question Remove the line from the back of the carb and you caninsert a unbent paper clip through the hole and it will come out in the lft side venturie. You should be able to see it sticking into the venturie,to make sure the hole is not blocked. ken ct. Use as fat a clip that will fit through the hole no bigger.

Re: Holley 2110 question if the mark moved that far you have enough vacuum to operate the vacuum advance correctly
