32 grill shield ?

Does any distributors make the shield that goes in the bottom of the 32 grill ? Or does anybody have a pattern that they would be willing to share ? Thanks !

Re: 32 grill shield ?

by shield do you mean the chin? That be the piece below the grille that hooks on the spreader bar. Brookville, Vintique just to name couple.
Most vendors have them

Maybe i'm missing something, but isn't that shield part of the grille shell stamping ? If you are referring to at the bottom just behind the grille insert. Exactly what do you have?

I assume, you are talking about a truck shell and you are referring to the metal piece that is made to the back side of the insert if it is a truck shell.

I suspect you will need to fabricate the replacement piece.

There is a lot of difference between a passenger car shell and a truck shell. HRP

Re: 32 grill shield ?

ALL FORD PARTS makes some kind of commerical grill repair panel. (33-34 - MAYBE 32 ALSO?)
i called them, they said they made one. i never got a catalog or saw a picture of what it is exactly.

those 32-34 commerical grills held debris down inside and its very common to see them rotted. if caught soon enough they are much easier to save before the front lower edge goes, then the grill bars come loose.
