Ford body wood - Cubel's Fordwood I am considering dropping a 1K chunk of hard-earned money on replacement body wood for my early V8. Has anyone out there had dealings with Cubel's Fordwood in Utah, either good or bad ? They require 100% down payment to start the order. Thanks.

Re: Ford body wood - Cubel's Fordwood Bad experience. I believe someone posted another source a while back towards the east cost that had good products. You might also post on the EV8 club site.

Re: Ford body wood - Cubel's Fordwood See earlier post. It has some good alternative vendors for v8 wood.

Re: Ford body wood - Cubel's Fordwood For my '33 I used Classic Wood at 1006 Raleigh st in Greensboro N C 27405 336-691-1344. Everything was sent right away except the rear qtr. window, which he told me was back ordered for two weeks until he could make more and two weeks later that piece showed up. Nice product and fits well. I highly recommend them.
Before I ordered, I had heard some not so favorable things here and on the HAMB about Cubel's |
Re: Ford body wood - Cubel's Fordwood I'd call Brad's Woodshop in Friday Harbor, WA 360-378-3886 his products fit like a glove and top quality....

Re: Ford body wood - Cubel's Fordwood Brad's in upstate Washington gets my vote based on the amount of new woodwork he has made for me.

Re: Ford body wood - Cubel's Fordwood I’ve used Brad’s and Cubel’sand there is no comparison to qualit and service. Brads wins on both. Cubels is consistent in only horrible communication and overpriced shipping. Brads finish work is nice and Cubels was rough. Another positive on Brads is he provides miscellaneous hardware and instructions, Cubels- nothing. Your experience may vary but I doubt it
