Family Model A history 1 Attachment(s)
To make a long story short, last weekend my son got married and the reception was at the Gluek Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis, established in 1857.
They had a lot of old photos on the wall showing the history of the Gluek Brewery and the photo in my new avatar was there. The handwritten caption says "The first beer truck to leave Gluek's after repeal of Prohibition - 1933" and the guy driving the Model AA loaded with beer is my grandfather. Wow! My two favorite things, Model A's and beer! Oh yeah, Grandpappy too. |

Re: Family Model A history That caption probably should have read, "The first legal beer truck to leave Gluek's after repeal of Prohibition - 1933" :rolleyes: I'd bet they were rolling all through the '20s.
