reground performance cam

Does any have, or know where I can get a Model A cam ground for a Model A? Not a real loppy one but just a little more performance. I know a B cam has about .025 higher lift. The engine is going in a 1930 stock roadster, 060 bore and a downdraft V/8 carb, and a Snyder 6:1 head. Thanks Walt

Try Jim Brierly. He posts here some and grinds a good cam. You also could try Bill Stipe who posts as Red Rocket (which his T is).

Re: reground performance cam

I just installed Bill Stipe's 340 Touring cam. It's a brand new cam, not a re-grind. He also offers re-grinds. I also had new bronze cam bushings installed in the block and had them line bored as the old surfaces were worn especially the center one which causes havoc with distributor timing. Also, be sure to install a new distributor drive gear with the new cam.

Here is Bill's website address..........http://specialtymotorcams.com/pages/camshafts.html
