Re: 34 Coup in water accident

I wish I could land something like that when I go fishing!

Seriously though, that must be extremely gutting for the owner, I think I would have cried.

Wonder if someone forgot to set the park brake ? If there were occupants when it went in the pond wouldn't the doors have been open from their escape ? Definately a HOLY S--- situation . Hope the folks are OK.

Re: 34 Coup in water accident

That's too bad. I hate to see things like that happen to a nice old Ford. The pictures looked like good progress was being made at getting it out of the water untill the last shot where it was upside down. What happened that caused it to flip over?

Frank, you "raise" a good point :D

In the 4th picture it looks like cable hooked to left rear of car, do a pull from the side it's going to pull the LR up...........and over. JMO

Re: 34 Coup in water accident

Actually, as with a boat it's more of a mess than a disaster at the point where it comes out of the water. Plus it looks fresh, saltwater is a lot worse on everything-
What is done in the next 4 hours though determines the outcome of the previous........mess vs disaster.........

But Grandpa, Snooki and I were just watching the squirrels, and it just sorta rolled away.
