Anit-Rattler Installation

What is the best/easiest way to install the anti-rattlers in a 1930 Model A?

Disconnect rear rod clevises; loosed locking nuts and remove clevises; slide anti-rattlers over rods so that they are pushing against donuts toward rear of car; bolt to bracket on radius rods; reinstall clevises and locking nuts. Fronts are different - anti-rattlers slide on from eye end of brake rods, so disconnect from cross-shaft arm at center of car, slide anti-rattler on, bolt to bracket; reconnect rod at center. You may have to enlarge the openings in the front anti-rattlers so they will slide over the eyes.

Which way are the front brake flat spring type anti-rattlers supposed to point in s brake off mode? Does the open end of the cup face fornt or back?

For both front and back, the open face of the spring are against the bulge in the brake rod and are trying to push it in the opposite direction to the one in which it moves when you apply the brakes.

Do the anti rattlers fit in front or behind the frame bracket, and why? - or doesn't it matter?

RG&JS doesn’t specify. Just be sure that where you mount them, you get a good pressure away from the cross shaft.
