Setting door glass 31 coupe
 

Well I have the Repro window cranks,,,crap,and the new repro parts the glass sits in . I also have some window setting tape,now what?:confused: My question is how do I get the glass to sit in it's channel with the tape?

On my '31 S/W, the window setting "tape" is actually a rubber strip. Somebody suggested using mineral spirits as a lubricant when assembling the glass to the channel. It worked great, and several minutes later it all evaporated, leaving the glass and rubber firmly seated in the channel.

I install the channel exactly as Don says. I've only done a few windows, but this method works great.

Thanks Don, their in! I can now wash the "A" without getting a wet seat!! The first time I tried to use Dawn and the first time I rolled them down They seperated!
