Is Late 1931 Pickup Gastank Not the Same As Late 1931 Car
 

I have a late 1931 gastank for sale and the pending buyer says that he read that the late 1931 truck tank is not the same as the car one in width. He has a pickup not a AA truck. I thought the pickup tank was the same as the car one. Does anyone know if this is true. Thanks for any information.

They are the same.I've done this with my own two hands.Try to find out where he got his info.If it was yootoob or AI,that would explain the misinformation.Or,worst of all,facebook.I'm not on there but a friend showed me the A section of that place.The amount of B.S. on there is staggering.

I have a few late 31 fuel tanks here, including the one pulled from my late 31 Budd cab pickup. They look exactly the same. Holes in the same place, everything.

The parts book would show the facts.A wider tank would mean a wider firewall,a wider hood,W/S frame,dash rail,etc.
