Model A Flywheel Information

1 Attachment(s)
Hello Folks,

Looking for some information on some markings I found on my lightened flywheel with a V8 clutch installed. I have a 1931 Model A Roadster. Its time to tear the engine down because of a health oil leak and slight knock that has developed. When I pulled the flywheel I noticed some writing on it. see attached picture.

It was hand written with a sharpie...."Balok WRR" and a date of 10/1/03..

Just wondering if anyone would recognize this writing. Is its a builder or possible a customer?

Thanks for any leads.

I'd guess that it's the ID that a shop put on it identifying the customer and date it was last surfaced. WRR might be the inititals of the machinist. In any event, curiosity not important.

Balok was a male citizen of the First Federation, who was child-like in appearance. In 2266, as captain of the Fesarius and the sole occupant of that vessel, he made first contact with the Federation.

Ain't time travel grand? What they forgot to mention is he came back to fix his ggetc grandfather's car so he could escape the blackout that affected 55 million people in the northeast that year..........

"Balok" balanced , followed by initials of machinist is my best guest.
