Model T rust issue 1 Attachment(s)
I had a radiator leak for a period of time (now resolved), but it left some rust issues as seen in the picture. What’s the best way to deal with this? Do I need to blast and repaint, or can just sand and do the same? What’s the best way forward? Amateur enthusiast here. Thank you in advance!

Re: Model T rust issue The spring should be disassembled, cleaned of old paint and corrosion using the best method available to you, then refinished, lubricated, & reassembled. Wire brushes may work as well as grit blasting depending on access to equipment such as grit blast. I use glass beads on what ever fits in my cabinet. If the radiator coolant doesn't get on it the moisture from the road will eventually.
