Hi.

My French flathead is originally equipped with a 5 1/8 in 24volt gen.

I want to fit a more common 12v gen.

What is the diameter of an 8BA generator ?

Re: 8BA gen size

In WW2 jeeps were 6v, some trucks were 12v, and big stuff was 24 volt. So, after that they got smart and made everything 24 volt , so a jeep could jump a tank, all bulbs are the same, and even dashboards interchange.
