32 3W roof insert size

I have a 32 3W that needs full restoration.

Unfortunately the roof has been cut very badly around the roof insert opening - i can just make out the start of the profile of the flange/bead (? not sure what else to call it?) at the rear.

Can anyone confirm the exact size of the opening? As said i have a small section of the shaped flange/bead at the rear, but also ideally need a drawing/photo of the shape that hasnt been damaged.

The idea is to make a pullmax die to recreate the shape.

Thanks, i hope someone can help.

Of course pictures would help . We have an original 3w , it has a vinyl top but no interior so all is visible and measurable from th inside , it this helps .

A word of caution, since your restoring a 32 3W be sure to attach the glove box on the back of the dash panel then install that two piece assembly into the body before the body is installed on the chassis. I think David Rehor gave me this advise sometime in the past. I either ignored it or forgot it. The body is on the chassis and now I'm trying to install the glove box. Two days in and Im no closer than when I started. It's going to take some big magic to get it done. Good Luck

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I'm missing the dash (as well as many other parts!) Not easy to find here in the UK.

It might be advisable to request a penciled tracing of the (4) corners or minimally(2) of the rear & front corner radius using kraft paper yet mailable in folded format. If all else fails Walden might be of help as he makes the steel insert which may follow the same corner profile.

That would indeed be very helpful. If anyone is willing to do this please let me know.
