Late '32 rear diff complete- FOUND

2 Attachment(s)
Spent yrs hunting one of these, missed a few too. This one scored! came from a late 32 PU. 53 1/2" tube- correct?? poor photos. yep , it looks like a 33/34 with the short tube. There are three tube lengths for these rear diffs. 33/34 4cyl and V8 then the late '32s. Newc

Attachment angle of the radius rod brackets would confirm.

Tom is right on this. A 32 rear will have straight radius rod-brackets welded to the axle tubes, while a 33-34 will have them at an angle.

Due to this, the radius rods are different as well. It is extremely difficult to find a late 32 rear end with the correct torque tube and driveshaft (for a 32).

Usually you'll have to cut-down a 33-34 torque-tube and driveshaft to fit the shorter 32 lengths. In many cases, just finding a 33-34 rear end setup is that best place to start.

I was fortunate to find both the torque tube and driveshaft for my 32 cabriolet - will probably never see them again!
