Local assistance requested I am at my wit's end with trying to get this '31 Vickie running right. This is my first Model A and I just can't seem to get it figured out. It starts, with difficulty, but backfires on acceleration and just won't run right . I have tried to time this thing over and over and still no go. I have changed the carb three times. No help.
Does anyone know of someone in the greater Denver area that could lend me a hand? I can have this car trucked to their shop or they can come to mine. I live in Loveland, Co. Any suggestions would be great. You can PM me with the contact if you prefer. Thank you, Phil |
Re: Local assistance requested Send it to Bert's Model A Center in your state. If they can't fix it, NO ONE can! Steve Becker will straighten out your Model A for sure.

Re: Local assistance requested Thank you both for the excellent responses. I will definitely join the Northern Colorado A Club. I have heard of the excellent service and knowledge of Steve Becker from Bert's and
I can use him as a source as well. Damn!!!! I am so relieved and optimistic now. Phil |
Re: Local assistance requested And also join the Victoria Association. You can find them online. They are the most knowledgeable group regarding the Model A Victoria.
