Final engine block serial #

Would anyone happen to what the block serial number was for the last production Model T engine block in '27? I have a '27 block with a very high serial number and was just curious.

Thank you. I found out it was made in April, 1928 which would make it a service replacement block.

Actually it would have been sold as a short block or compete engine if it was factory stamped. Bare blocks didn't have the serial number stamped on them. The engine rebuilder would have stamped the serial number for the car it was going into.

Canuck,
Great info here...thanks for sending. I'm getting an education about these late engines. Seems that my engine was more than likely dropped into a truck chassis based on the feedback I'm getting from several sources.

They also continued to sell complete engines for stationary power plants, not necessarily all them were for replacement in cars.
