Generator end cap.

I'm off work today so I am going to work on my '53 Monterey. This end cap has a nice bushing and the one on there now does not. The oil port is of a different style and I hope that this does not signal "won't fit!". this one has the ball bearing and my original has the tiny cap that swings shut. I will also put a new front bearing along with two new belts. Over and out.

I think the armature shafts are different from bushing style vs roller bearing.

Are you asking a question? A photo of the other one might help. I restore a lot of these generators and know them pretty well.

The end cap was the easy part. I could do it by braille. Pulling the front pulley off the generator to renew the bearing took some tact. Plus, it was cold in Michigan today.
