How do you get rid of decades of extreamy nice 32 parts.
Un broken fenders ,hoods, grills, shells, firewall, complete perfect front and rear suspensions, running boards, frame, steering box, pedals.rims and original caps
I am just out of three weeks in isolation ward with Covid and pneumonia
I can’t even get to the shop.
Pate? eBay marketplace?
I don’t know when I will ever be able to move the stuff.

Hello Andy, been down this road. I learned not to make any BIG decisions while recovering from serious illness. Hold on for a while and don't stop flying the airplane! All the best, take care. Gordon

List the items here and also take them to a swap meet. Small new boxed items could be sold on EPay. At the meet sell the parts at the lowest price and make new friends. Keep in mind the cost and effort taking it all back home if you don't price it attractively enough.

Get well and feeling better first; then think it over.

There are people that will buy a package deal at a fair price; you just have to decide if dealing with selling piecemeal is worthwhile money wise and maybe more importantly time wise (advertising, packing, shipping, putting up with with idiots and low ballers).

Selling the stuff yourself, the most desirable items will sell easily; but a lot of other stuff not as much.

A couple Model B parts I have looked for past year.A mint gas tank. A good no pitting 18" wheel. Pair of 5 window door sill covers,scuff plates. Doubt you feel much like packing parts to ship,get well quick.

Got covid even with the vaccine ?

Lot sale / donation easier. My 'hoard' is going as a lot to the V8 foundation. Maybe 3-5 Semi loads. Newc

The advice to get well first by others is sound advice. Once you are well you will make decisions with a clear plan in mind. You do not want to make hasty decisions. They usually don't end well when you make them.

A good auction might be what you need, but yes get well first. I have thought it would be good to have auction services at a swap meet to rid all the leftovers.

Wish you well Andy, you are one of the guys around here that I respect their knowledge on this old junk. 32 stuff for sale should not be a problem, but as pointed out, the creamy stuff will go fast and other will take time and effort. I did the auction thing a couple years ago, and its shocking to go thru. Mostly profit because much of it had been bought 30-40 years ago, then you watch something bought last year for 200 bucks go to the scrap man for 10 bucks!!! In my case, it had to go, I was moving, no other choice. For you, take some time to think it over....best wishes.

Among your friends and acquaintances, there will be one who has a reputation for being the early worm in offering to liquidate at such times. Comes the time when you need such a person, but have caution, as all the leverage is with him and you will feel obliged to trust his judgement. Too many red flags with an arrangement t like this. You’d do better to initiate contact with an out-of-town dealer to maintain control.

I don’t onow you but I wish you well - just remember a body n motion stays in motion - ss others have said - get better and then make the decisions.

A lot of good suggestions have already been posted. Don't rush to this decision. Prime '32 parts like grilles, fenders, front axles, doors are bringing very good money.

I think first you need to decide do you want to ship any of the parts. If the answer is no, then swap meets, Instagram and Facebook Marketplace with the caveat of no shipping clearly listed in the ad.

I would not use Ebay. The 25% fees and the W-2 they would send you on the sale of all these nice parts would be a pretty big hit on your profit.

Iron Trap has built an incredible business and has amassed amazing stuff. That said, a company like his or any similar will not offer you the price these parts would bring if you sold them if they are that nice. That said, if you want to sell them all at one time, this may be the best option.

Since they are all individual pieces, this is actually a good thing. Prime '32 parts will sell quickly.

Another thought is Hershey if you are willing to make the drive. Going by your description, your parts would sell within the first two days.

A buzz gets created when prime '32 parts show up.

Most everyone wants to give sincere advice to you Andy, but I think you know best how you feel and what you are or will be capable of doing on your own. If you open up your storage to mostly local folks they will be after the best parts. Soon after and including a lot of work you will have mostly a large stash of parts for the "tin man." Not knowing the amount of your collection, I believe contacting a few of the BIG buyers like IronTrap would be in your best interest. They would give you a flat figure and it would be all gone and cleaned up in a couple days. If you don't like the bids you receive you can always strike out on your own. From my small experience selling and packing and shipping can be a monumental task. I continually watch parts advertisements and local friends and it seems that so few parts get sold in a timely fashion, if ever. No matter what anyone tells you we are in a diminishing market for 1930s cars and parts. Most importantly I wish good health again for you. It is so much more than money or accumulations.
