I have been looking for a flasher that makes an audible (loud) beep so that I can remember to turn off my turn signals.

When you find one, post it here. The only thing I have found is one that screams like a banshee.

What one might that be Counselor? I could put rubber bands on it or put it in my glove box.

You can quieten down a loud one by wrapping tape around it. You can (normally) tune it to an acceptable level.

I wired one of these piezo buzzers with the flasher, I covered it with a piece of electrical tape to quiet it a little. When I bought mine it was 99 cents with free shipping, but that was before tariffs. Shop around you should be able to find a deal. I think I grounded the red wire to the dash and spliced the black into the feed for the flasher.

That is what I have been working with. Bought 8 for $12.00. I wired into the load side of the flasher but can faintly hear the buzzer even when not using the turn light switch. Possibly I may have a *&&^%$*(*R^ in the control switch.

That looks like what I have if my remember ain't broke. I'll try the tape, but I'd prefer one that clicks intermittently, like God meant for them, to work.

I tried one of those buzzers but it didn't last very long. Instead I now have a little LED light (from Amazon) mounted on a small bracket next to the rear view mirror, wired to the P terminal of the flasher. It's hard to not see it flashing even in daylight.

How does the buzzer sound connected directly to the battery terminals?.
Mine is just annoying enough with electrical tape wrapped around it.

It sounds about right when hooked directly to the battery. It seems like I might be getting weak feedback from the switch. I just do not know why I cannot remember to always shut off the switch after turning a corner. 40 years ago when driving a small semi and trailer I didn't have that problem lol !

I bought mine from Snyder's a few years ago. I wrapped a piece of packing sponge with a piece of tape and that made the beeping sound perfect.

Or if you have a 6 v flasher thats too quiet, mount it on thr bottom of an aluminum can cut in half . Makes mine loud enough.

Thanx, just tried that. Will see how it works when I get out on the road. Big snowstorm later tomorrow so I may have to wait till Spring!

I can't even hear the loud seatbelt chime in my modern car. My old Ford I have little flashing lites at the bottom of the dash.

yep,i hear ya 34 fordy i had jusy in the last couple weeks changed the oil,lubed zerks,topped off trans and diff,adjusted brakes and washed and polished the '37 and put away till sping when all snow sand and salt are gone. our forcast says 5-12 for fri and sat here in my area in Iowa. Tom. ps.i thought about putting a little noise maker in my turn sigs. as well but i finally trained my self to cancel sig lever.

You must be in Southern Iowa? as Fort Dodge is supposed to get more. Maybe I should take my wife with me as she reminds me to turn off the signals when I change lanes in our car. Most of my first cars didn't have turn signals so I have always used that as an excuse. Pretty hard to "teach an old dog new tricks." This one anyway LOL.
