Throw out bearing hub spring

What holds the throw out bearing spring to the throw out bearing arm? Is it rivited in place to the arm.
I bought a new arm off eBay without the spring. Now I have found a spring and want to put it on the arm.

There are 2 different arms and 2 different hubs for 8BA engines. Neither has a spring on the throwout arm.

'49 - '51 has a round hub with spring attached to it and '52 - 54 has a square hub with with spring attached and a throw out arm to match.

Earlier hub snaps over two round pieces at the end of the throw out arm.
The later hub snaps to the end of the arm, just over the stamped metal.

the pictures might help.

Re: Throw out bearing hub spring

Sorry it is a 50 model with Flathead V8. Thanks for the pictures. I looked in the manual and I am pretty sure mine is the round hub. I was just confused what the spring was attached to. I see it is connected to the hub.
Is the hub or the ears on the arm bad about wearing out and not holding the throw out bearing in place.
I am having clutch trouble. I have talked about it before on the forum.
