Which Carb

1935 sedan with a stock 59-AB using the 35 intake manifold. I have 3 cabs a
46-48 Ford 59 and a Stromberg 97 and a Stromberg 48. Not looking to go racing just a nice driver and best for fuel mileage as we like to do trips. I intend to rebuild one for the upcoming driving season.

In my opinion, go with the 59 series. Once built properly, they are super good units. Also, your engine was designed to be run with the 59.

As Kube says above. The original 35 carb for the original engine is the 48 Stromberg. Ford used two different intakes for the 35 cars.

I'd base my decision on what shape are the carbs in and do you plan to rebuild them? I would not be throwing an old carb on the engine - all of them can be rebuilt to good as new shape.
