1931 Model A Ford cylinder head

I am restoring a Model A Ford engine. When I removed the cylinder head it was stamped "VICTOR 900" on the inside flat surface. Does anyone know the origin of this head? Thanks G

The Victor 900 was a head gasket made for the Model B. Most likely someone stamped that as a reminder of what head gasket to use.

Victor makes head gaskets. I suspect the marking you see is an imprint from a head gasket.
