Shopping for a new Model B radiator.
 

Has anyone used the US Radiator company for a new radiator for a 1932 Ford Model B? I used a '55 TBird radiator from them a couple years ago and it was perfect reproduction. They offer two original core choices which confuse me both are copper / brass. I do not want to use an aluminum one or recore or repair my original if it is even that. Any other good sources? Thank You.

I've used Revcore radiator out of Woodstock, IL for my model B & V8 radiators.

You can't go wrong with Brassworks, IMO. Not cheap and there is a wait time but you won't be disappointed. Again, IMO. I have a Brassworks radiator in my '39 p/u with an 8ba. Lee at Brassworks worked with me to insure the 4 row would fit. I picked it up in person went I went to TROG at Pismo Beach and got a tour of his facility. Very impressive.

Okay this helps I was also interested in learning about Brassworks over US Radiator and Walker is now Johnson radiator. Mine need not be original concours as far as the way the fins look,I just want it to cool and allow grill shell to fit.

Be sure to shop the NOS/gently used ones with a wanted ad. I have one but it already has a home.

I 2nd Brassworks...not cheap, but a perfect product. Located in LA, hope all is well for them

I called them yesterday and placed an order,let me know it would take 6-8 weeks to deliver. Not cheap but $300-$400 cheaper than US Radiator and they also take that long so mayby they just make through Brassworks.

Minor detail. Brassworks is in Paso Robles in central CA. Several hundred miles north of LA.

Brass Works. They can make you a near perfect original 32 radiator. I have used several.
