Friends Since The 70’s - Home Hot Rod Builders Exchange Cars Decades Apart

2300 vehicles transported since 2006
and never a story like this one.

Home hot rod builders meet in their 20’s
in Southern California while raising their
families and working in their home garages
on their cars in the 70’s - one would go on
to receive acclaim for his home built creations
and the other would quietly go about
doing the same without the fame …

Jim Holdin points to his hot rod build
he is driving on a tour with his friend

Friends Since The 70’s - Home Hot Rod Builders Exchange Cars Decades Apart

Jim Holdin put this thru the wall of
his garage after he nudged it with
another hot rod he was driving - he
cushioned the impact with some
Christmas decorations …

So he sold it to his friend Lynn 40 some
years ago - Lynn turned it into this in
less than a year - keep in mind Lynn was
in his late 20’s or early 30’s and did all
the work himself ( except for the engine )
