Lucas versus European Classic tires

Looking for some inexpensive 21' tires for my Tudor. Anyone have experience with Lucas or European Classic tires?

After 7000 miles my Lucas tires have even wear on all four but they are in need of replacement. In other words they are not worn out because of poor front end alignment.

the European classics appear to be better tires then Lucas all the way around, but do cost a little more, as in about 600 a set.

I bought excelsiors from Jegs for around 400. a set and they appear to be similar to the Lucas. that was with shipping and tax, btw.

You don't mean Denman do you? They closed years ago but they were good tires.

Yes, I think it was Denman. I'm checking with a friend that mentioned them to me.

Re: Lucas versus European Classic tires

I have purchased several sets from Dave Bockman in Visalia, California and run them on two of my cars. They are great and I've had no problems with the black. The white walls were a different story but the problem was remedied early on by the factory. I'm very happy with my Classic European tires.
